Fill the pan with cold water so that everything is covered, then place on a high heat and bring to the boil. Take the chicken breast out and let cool completely, then shred with two forks.

  2. bring 9 cups water in a pot to a boil and add chicken with everything else in the pan to the pot and let simmer at medium high heat for 45 minutes
  3. after 45 minutes add potatoes, celery, carrots, salt and pepper , let simmer for another 25 minutes and then add pasra
  4. after 25 minutes add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer at medium heat for another 30 minutes, and then serve

Fill the pan with cold water so that everything is covered, then place on a high heat and bring to the boil. Take the chicken breast out and let cool completely, then shred with two forks. Add chicken back to the broth. Add onion, celery, carrots all herbs, spices and seasonings. Leave on a low simmer and cover with a lid.
