  4. Take 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  5. Make ready 2 cup Oil
  6. Get 1 star anise
  7. Make ready 1 inch cinnamon stick
  8. Prepare 2 cloves
  9. Take 1 bay leaf
  10. Take 1 red dry chilli
  11. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. Get 1 tsp cummin seeds
  13. Make ready 6-7 curry leaves
  14. Take 2 black pepper
  15. Make ready 1 tsp asafoetida
  16. Make ready 2 tbsp Ginger garlic and green chilli paste
  17. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
  18. Get to taste Salt
  19. Get 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  20. Take 1 tsp garam masala
  21. Get 1 cup vegetables stock
  22. Prepare 2 tsp lemon juice
  23. Get As needed Coriander for Garnish
  24. Prepare As needed Chapdi for serving

  1. First of all boil the socked beans in cooker.
  2. Also boil the all chopped vegetables.
  3. After that add 5 tbsp oil in a pan, if oil is heat add star aenish, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, red dry chilli, cummin, mustard, curry leaves, black pepper then add pinc of asafoetida, green chopped onion, gingar garlic and green chilli paste, chopped tomato and mix well.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add boiled beans and boiled vegetables and mix well.
  5. Then add turmeric, salt to taste, red chilli powder, 1 cup vegetables stock, lemon juice, garam masala and mix well.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes in low flam.
  7. Take a serving plate garnish with coriander and serve with chapdi and salad.

Chapdi Undhiyu banavani rit is very easy and is prominently enjoyed during the winter season. The Undhiyu prepared in this recipe is different from the Surti Undhiyu.
