Tear over the mozzarella in chunks, then scatter over with the breadcrumbs with a bit more ground pepper. Peel the onions and cut into large wedges, then deseed and roughly chop the peppers. - gradually stir in egg noodles. not necessary to use whole bag as could dry out casserole so eyeball a decent amount as you stir in
- Bake for 50 minutes
Add all these to the tray along with the chicken thighs. Heat the oil in a heavy-based pan over a medium to high heat and fry the chicken, skin side down, until it becomes crispy. You may need to cook the chicken in batches if you have a small pan. Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken pieces and set aside. Put the onions, potatoes, garlic and tomatoes in a large roasting tin and season with sea salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper.
